Ok so maybe since I've been working full time I never find the time or desire to keep my house as clean as it should be. Maybe I start to clean and get frustrated with it all and have to stop cleaning before I lose my mind.
Well today I tried to get some of the rooms looking half decent and Payton kept asking me " Is someone coming over mom?" Do I only clean my house when someone is coming over? Or is it that I just realize what a mess and how embarrasing it is when someone is going to come over? I didn't think my children were keeping tabs on that. I told Payton "No - no one is coming over I just want a clean house". So a little time goes by and Payton says "Mom we shouldn't really be cleaning today - you know - it is a holiday. He is right it is a holiday -but I still wish I could wave a magic wand and make all the mess disappear.

I am a "someone is coming over" cleaner. That's why we hardly ever have anyone over! :)
Yeah! People only come to my house when it's dirty. My house can be clean all week, the kids get a day off of school and the house is a wreck- guess who comes by? The RS President, Bishop or my Visiting Teacher. Never fails.
My kids always ask me where I am going if I put makeup on. Yikes that tells me something!
